LOUDONVILLE, NY - The Siena women's lacrosse program aims to get back in the win column on Wednesday afternoon, as the Saints prep to take on the Niagara Purple Eagles at Hickey Field. The opening draw between the Saints and Purple Eagles will come at 3 p.m., as the Green and Gold have been winners of six of their last eight games.

With a three-game win streak and a perfect MAAC record on the line, the Siena Saints struggled to find the twine on Saturday afternoon as they were defeated by the Manhattan Jaspers by a final score of 8-6.
Siena was led by a solid three-point game from sophomore
Nicole McNeely, who scored a pair of goals and dished an assist. Freshman
Mary Soures tossed home two goals as well, while redshirt freshman
Kaitlyn Dowsett and junior
Annie Brennan each scored as well in the contest. Senior goalie
Sammy Horton made 10 saves in the loss.
At the moment, the Saints boast one of the best goaltenders in the country in
Sammy Horton, as she ranks 10
th in the NCAA in save percentage, and 25
th in saves. She ranks first in the MAAC in both of those categories. Siena also ranks either first or second in multiple categories in the MAAC, highlighted by the second-ranked scoring defense, which ranked 23
rd nationally.
