LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Lacrosse fourth-year head coach Danielle Schwan-Tetreault has welcomed eight student athletes in the latest recruiting class—all freshmen—to the squad for the upcoming 2027 campaign. 

Among them are defenders Kelsey Gorman, Marin Jaeger, Josie Jones, Annina Trouesdale, midfielders Mia Dankenbrink and Lola Wambach and attackers Riley Brown and Catherine Craig.

This year's class has a strong emphasis on regional talent. Six of the eight student athletes hail from the state of New York, with one hailing from Wisconsin and another from Massachusetts.

"We are extremely excited for this incoming class," said coach Schwan-Tetreault, whose team went 12-7 and became the lowest seeded team in conference history (No. 5) to reach the championship game last season.

"They are a well-balanced group that bring a lot of energy and intensity to the team. They are already melding great with the returners and we are excited for the year ahead."

Gorman is the younger sister of current Siena junior defender Faye Gorman. Kelsey Gorman was named one of Newsday's top 100 Long Island girls' lacrosse players for the 2026 season at St. Anthony's High. 

Jaeger played at West Irondequoit just outside of the Rochester, NY area as well as on the Aces Elite Club team. Jaeger was an All-League Second Team selection for District 2. 

Josie Jones is the younger sister of current Siena junior defender Grace Jones. Playing under Hudson head coach and her mother Alice Jones, Josie scored the winning goal with 42.8 seconds remaining to give Hudson a 12-11 victory against the University School of Milwaukee to raise back-to-back state championships. 

Trouesdale was a versatile player at Charles W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville—forcing 15 turnovers, picked up 11 ground balls while earning credit for 10 draw controls during her senior campaign.

Dankenbrink was an All-County Honorable Mention selection at Wantagh High as well as an All-Conference selection in her junior season and a member of the Nassau County Championship team in 2024.

Wambach was both an All-League First Team selection in 2025 and an All-League Second Teamer in 2026 at Webster Schroeder High. 

Brown was a four-year starting attacker for Rush Henrietta High and played for the 3d Upstate/Common Goal club team. The New York State Scholar Athlete was a two-time Monroe County All-League Second Team honoree.

Catherine Craig is the younger sister of Siena Men's Lacrosse senior defender Daniel Craig. Catherine Craig was an All-American, Conference Player of the Year, team MVP and three-time All-Conference First Team selection. 

Additionally, she was named to the Boston Herald All-Scholastic Team as well as the Lowell Sun Player of the Year.
