LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Softball Head Coach
Bill Lajeunesse announced the largest incoming class in his nine-year tenure with the program Thursday afternoon. The Saints will welcome nine players to the Capital Region as part of their incoming recruiting class. The class of 2023 will look to fill the shoes of five seniors who graduated as part of the class of 2019, and originally entered as part of Lajeunesse's then-largest incoming class of eight in 2016.
"We are expecting the players in this class to step in and contribute to the success of our program right away," Lajeuenesse said. "They will help to generate team depth in a variety of areas which will increase the level of competition among the team members for playing time. We expect them to help improve our overall level of play in getting ready for the upcoming season."

The Green and Gold have now posted 20-win seasons in seven of the last eight years and have finished inside the top-3 in the conference in each of the last three campaigns.
