Women’s Basketball Announces Departures

Pair of Saints to Pursue Other Opportunities

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Women's Basketball rising senior Maddie Sims and rising sophomore Hanna Strawn have informed the program of their intentions to transfer. The duo have both asked to have their names entered into the NCAA transfer portal.

"We wish Maddie and Hanna the best of luck in their future endeavors," said head coach Ali Jaques.

A native of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Sims was a Second Team All-MAAC selection this past season. She appeared in all 30 games (28 starts), and averaged 12.1 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Strawn saw action in 17 games during her freshman season, averaging 11.2 minutes per contest. The Binghamton, New York product averaged 2.2 points per game.

Both Sims and Strawn depart Siena College in good academic standing.
