SCHENECTADY - The Siena Men's Tennis team opened their 2019 season at Central Park in Schenectady, playing host to the Siena Invitational. It would be a tough day for the men in doubles, as only two of the pairings would grab wins in the tournament. In singles, sophomores Tomas del Olmo and Griffen Barnett, and senior Giovanny Mendoza each went 2-0 on the day to sta alive in the main draws of their flights. 

"We have been back for only three days, so this was a pretty good showing in singles," said head coach Jeff Osborn. "We have some work to do in doubles, but we will get there working hard in the fall."

The Saints will host Day Two of the Siena Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 7 with the opening matches kicking things off at 9 a.m.
