The Siena Women's Tennis team saw freshman Laia Giralt compete in Day 2 of the ITA Northeast Regionals on Saturday afternoon in West Point.
 
Giralt adavanced to today's action after a pair of singles wins that sent her to the round of 64 on Friday. Her opponent on Saturday, Renata Farima of UMass was a seeded player who received a bye into the round. Giralt would fall 6-2, 6-0 in the match, and being eliminated from the tournament.
 
Finishing out the weekend will be sophomore Emma Boggiali and junior Maanya Viswanath as they resume on Sunday in doubles play.
