Siena will look to close out its longest road trip to begin a season since 2004-05 and the most calendar days in-between the season opener and hope opener (19 days) in program history with a victory, which would help avoid the first 0-4 start since 2015-16. Siena got out to a seven-point halftime lead and its largest advantage at any point this season (nine points) at Lafayette on Saturday, but could not hold on down the stretch, shooting only 25 percent from the field and 32 percent from the free throw line. Senior Margo Peterson collected his first double-figure scoring output of the season with 16 points, while freshman Valencia Fontenelle-Posson went for a season-best nine points off the bench.

Through three games on the season, fifth year guard Rayshel Brown continues to lead the team and rank 11th in the conference with 13 points per-game, going for double-figures during the team's first two contests of the season. Senior Tobulayefa Watts is 10th in the MAAC in rebounds and put fourth a season-best nine boards on Saturday.

Siena continues to lead the nation in three-point field goal defense, and have held opponents to only 7.5 percent (3-40) from beyond-the-arc. The Saints held St. Bonaventure to 0-13 from three on November 11, marking the first time since 2011 that they eliminated the three ball in a game.

The Saints and the Wildcats are set to face off for the eighth time, with New Hampshire holding a 4-3 lead in the all-time series. The Wildcats bested the Green and Gold in a 77-67 decision in Loudonville on December 6, 2016, while Siena has won three of the last four meetings. UNH leads the series in Durham, while Siena holds a 6-5 record all-time when playing in the Granite State. The Saints triumphed during their last two trips to their America East foes, and overcame a 21-point deficit as part of the largest comeback in program history in a 78-65 win at UNH on December 1, 2001.

Picked to finish seventh in the America East Preseason Coaches Poll, New Hampshire will take the court at home for the third time in the last four games, taking a 72-23 victory over NAIA school Fisher College on Sunday at Lundholm Gymnasium. The Wildcats began the season with a 93-50 loss at No. 9 Iowa, and also fell to New England rival Northeastern on the road. Graduate student Amanda Torres ranks third in the America East with 12.3 points per-contest and first at 2.8 steals per-game, while sophomore and Clifton Park, NY native Bella Stuart averages 4.8 boards per-game to lead the team.
