LOUDONVILLE, NY - The Siena Women's Basketball team returns home to the UHY Center for the first time this season after a four-game road trip to begin the season. The Saints will take on the Duquesne Dukes, with tip-off at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at sienasaints.com/tickets or at the UHY Center. Tickets for adults range from $8 to $25, with senior citizens having an $8 ticket price. Children's tickets are $5 for entry. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time through the corresponding links or on game day at the UHY Center ticket window.

The Siena College Athletic Department
has announced the following spectator policy for all fans planning to attend Siena Women's Basketball home games held on campus at the UHY Center this season. All spectators aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated to be able to attend, and be able to show proof of vaccination and identification upon entry. Full vaccination status is defined as having completed the COVID-19 vaccination series at least 14 days prior to the date of the game. Proof of full vaccination can be presented through paper form, digital application, or the State's Excelsior Pass upon entering the UHY Center. Proof of Identification can include: Driver's License, Siena College ID, or Passport. Masks are strongly recommended for fully vaccinated individuals, and mandatory for unvaccinated children under the age of 12. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult, and children ages 2-11 will need to wear a mask, except when actively eating or drinking. This policy is guided by the alert level established by Siena College's COVID-19 Operations Team and is subject to change based on current conditions.

Siena (0-4) is 22-24 all-time in home openers, and will be looking for their first home opening win since 2017. The Saints look to bounce back after they were defeated by the New Hampshire Wildcats by a final score of 59-45 on Tuesday afternoon. The Saints struggled, shooting just over 32 percent from the field, including a 3-for-20 clip from three-point range. Fifth-year
Rayshel Brown had a standout performance, scoring 15 points on 6-for-10 shooting afternoon and adding a team-high eight rebounds. Freshman
Anajah Brown made her collegiate debut, scoring six points and snagging seven rebounds. Sophomore
Ahniysha Jackson also added eight points on the game, and junior
Cheyenne Talbot dished out four assists.

Duquesne (2-4) was picked to finish ninth in the Atlantic 10 this season, as the Dukes are coming off a win at Akron. The Dukes are 19-3 all-time versus teams from the Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference. Duquesne has won each of the past 11 contests against foes from the league, including wins over Manhattan and Iona in 2019.The Dukes last loss to a team from the MAAC was in 2004 in the UHY Center against the Saints, 62-58.

The Dukes and Saints are meeting for just the third-time ever and the first time since 2004. The two schools met for a home-and-home series in 2003 and 2004, with each team defending its own home with wins. The Dukes won the first-ever meeting 74-65 at the former Palumbo Center, while the Saints scored a 65-58 win at the UHY Center the following season.
