After a hot start that saw the Saints shoot just north of 60 percent in the first half, the Siena Saints struggled to score in the fourth quarter as they fell to the Bobcats by a final score of 84-63 on Wednesday. Despite the cold fourth quarter that saw the Saints shoot just 13.3 percent from the floor (2-for-15), they shot 44.8 percent on the game, which was their highest total since almost exactly a year ago when they shot 46.2 percent in a loss to Marist on Feb. 16, 2020.

Quinnipiac comes into the weekend matchup on a five-game winning streak after sweeping both Monmouth and Fairfield in back-to-back weekends prior to their win over Siena on Wednesday. Rose Caverly is coming into the game as the reigning MAAC Player of the Week, which was announced on Monday. She scored in double-digits in both games against Fairfield, scoring 17 to wrap up the weekend on Sunday in a 60-44 win. Both Makayla Morris and Mackenzie DeWees each scored double-doubles on Wednesday.

In the series history, Siena and Quinnipiac will be squaring off for the 17th time on Sunday, with the Bobcats holding a 15-1 advantage all-time. Head Coach
Ali Jaques stands two wins away from passing Joe Hogan on Siena's all-time coaching wins list.

On Wednesday, Siena was led by a 22 point afternoon from graduate student
Isis Young. Backing her up on offense would be junior
Margo Peterson, who added 13 points, four rebounds, four assists, and three blocks off the bench. Senior
Rayshel Brown scored eight points and snatched five steals, which would be the most steals in a game from a Saint since
Aaliyah Jones had six against Iona in the 2019 MAAC Tournament.
