Senior Rayshel Brown put together a game to remember on Sunday evening, as her game-winning go-ahead layup with 14 seconds to play put the Saints in position to take a 63-60 victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats on the road. After struggling in the fourth quarter in their matchup on Wednesday afternoon, the Siena Saints flipped the script and made the final frame their best 10 minutes of the game. They would hold the Bobcats to just eight points and scoreless over the final 3:22 of the game. The win is the Saints' second win over the Bobcats in as many years, and the eight points allowed in the fourth quarter is the fewest points allowed in any quarter this season for Siena. The Saints would score the final six points of the game, going on a 6-0 run over the final 3:22 to snag the win.

Saint Peter's comes into the weekend matchup after back-to-back weekends of splits with Monmouth and Niagara. However, both freshman Ajia James and Sky Castro swept the MAAC Weekly Awards as James took home Player of the Week while Castro won Rookie of the Week. However, senior Taiah Thornton leads the team in scoring with 14.2 points.

In the series history, Siena and Saint Peter's will be squaring off for the 75th and 76th time this weekend, with the Saints holding a 42-32 advantage all-time. Head Coach Ali Jaques stands just one win away from passing Joe Hogan on Siena's all-time coaching wins list, with the pair each standing at 115 wins at the helm of the Saints. Jaques also stands 15-1 all-time as a head coach against the Peacocks.

On Sunday, Brown would lead the charge with a 15-point, four assist, two steal game, which included a perfect 4-for-4 start from the floor in the first quarter. Graduate student Isis Young put up a game-high 19 points as she hit five three pointers and sealed the game with a pair of makes from the charity stripe with six seconds to play. Junior Amari Anthony also finished in double-digits, going for 12 points and seven rebounds. The Saints would shoot 45.1 percent from the field, setting a new season-high that tops their 44 percent effort on Wednesday.

Siena is 19-1 in their last 20 matchups with the Peacocks, with the one loss coming last season. Since January of 2001, Siena has averaged 64.79 points per game against Saint Peter's. Prior to the loss last season, Siena had won 18 straight games dating back to January 24, 2011. Graduate student Isis Young is currently the MAAC's top scorer sitting at 19.6 points per game. Fairfield's Lou Lopez-Senechal sits second at 17.0 points per game. Rayshel Brown and Margo Peterson also sit Top 20 in the conference. Young is currently on pace to finish Top 10 All-Time in single-season points per game. Currently averaging 19.6, she sits 9th all-time on the list, which is led by Siena Hall of Famer Vicki Aromando who had 23.7 points per game during the 1979-80 season.
