What They Are Saying About Coach Jabir

What They Are Saying About Coach Jabir

"I was so excited to see that Jim and his family are returning home to Siena.  He built a great program there at the start of his career and I am sure he will have the Saints challenging for championships real soon.  Most importantly, Jim and all in his program will be a great part of the Albany community. Jim has a great knowledge of the game and gets his team's to play at a high level against every team they play. His ability to communicate with his players translates to all areas of the game."
Bill Fennelly, Head Women's Basketball Head Coach - Iowa State

"He understands people. He cares about people. He cares deeply about his players and about his coaches. I think those relationships are ultimately what this is all about. That's something I will carry with me, and I think that's something that he's carried with him through a lot of his successes – which I believe has led to a lot of it."
Camryn Whitaker, Head Women's Basketball Coach - Northern Kentucky

"I think his resume speaks for itself. He's a winner, and connects very well with young women. He surrounds himself with great people. He's home now - at Siena - he's back home. I coached in my hometown too. And it's, it really means a lot you have your your back home. He will make Siena his home on and off the court, and the players will see that. But they also can look at his resume and it speaks for itself. He has taken programs, he's rebuilt programs, and then very successful doing it."
Lisa Stone, Head Women's Basketball Coach - Saint Louis

The way he he can build a program back up and can not just build it up to, you know, average - he builds it to extraordinary. What he did at Dayton was, was incredible. He was on his way to that at Florida Atlantic. And the other thing I would say is, I just loved competing against him, because it brought out the best. I mean, his teams were always so well prepared and played so hard, and executed so well that you knew you better have your group at the highest possible level to even have a chance. I just really valued that competition, and it helped us become friends, because he was not only a great competitor, but he was he was a great sportsman. He was very willing to talk through things and help in any way he could, as we built the program up econometric, and he's remained that way to this day."
Jim Crowley, Head Women's Basketball Coach - Providence
