Siena looks to build off their core of young talent with a group of upperclassmen highlighted by senior
Maddy Dunigan. Juniors
Gracie Halley and
Madoka Weldon will hold down the fort defensively sharing libero duties. The Green and Gold will lean on sophomores
Greta Stjade and
Hailey Hinkel, while graduate transfer
Emily Wunder highlights the newcomers. The Saints were selected eighth in the Preseason MAAC Coaches' Poll.

Wyoming returns all but 12 student-athletes from last season's squad, including a pair of All-Mountain West honorees in Jackie McBride and KC McMahon. McBride was named to her fourth All-Mountain West Team back in the spring, becoming just the eighth student-athlete in league history and second in Wyoming history, to be named all-league four times. McBride was also named to the preseason All-Mountain West squad earlier this month. McMahon, meanwhile, was a 2019 all-conference selection.
Â
Saint Mary's went 7-10 during their WCC-only season in the spring, with one game that went un-played due to Pacific cancelling the remainder of their season due to injury/COVID-19. That record was good for sixth-best in the WCC. Three Gaels were named to the All-WCC team in an honorable mention fashion: Elena Baka, Boo Laird, and Hawley Harrer.
Â
The Saints' schedule consists of 29 total matches, with 11 non-conference bouts and 18 MAAC matchups. In the spring, Siena finished with a 1-7 overall record, and are looking for their first opening match victory since 2016. The Saints topped St. Francis (NY) by a final of 3-2. Siena will be facing both Wyoming and Saint Mary's for the first time in program history.
