LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Men's Tennis team wrapped up their weekend at their opening tournament, the Siena Invite. Sophomore
Jose Pablo Davila was a standout performer, winning both singles and doubles back draws for the Saints.
Davila would pair with
Maxwell Acri to run through the Flight C draw, winning the semifinal and final en route to the title. They would win by scores of 6-4 and 6-1.
In addition to Davila's success in doubles, he also took the Flight C singles backdraw title. He would use wins by the final of 8-6 and 8-4. Senior
Tomas del Olmo also had singles success, bringing home the Flight A backdraw title as well. He would take an 8-6 win before taking a victory in the final due to a with draw due to injury.
The Saints will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 26 when they return to Central Park to take on the Sacred Heart Pioneers.
