Kirkpatrick Tabbed as Swimming & Diving Assistant Coach

Former Siena Swimmer Returns to the Pool

LOUDONVILLE, NY – With the 2021-22 season on the horizon, Siena Swimming & Diving Head Coach Brogan Barr announced the addition of former Siena swimmer Deb Kirkpatrick to the program's staff as an assistant coach.
 
"Deb brings a wealth of knowledge to Loudonville, and we couldn't be happier to have her sign on," Barr said. "A former Saint herself, she is familiar with the program and its history, and is a great addition to our team." 
 
Kirkpatrick enters the ranks of collegiate coaching following a career in the business world, most recently working as a Member Service advisor for SEFCU for the past two years and a Member Specialist from 2015-19. She holds prior experience working for Atlas Copco Comptec in Voorheesville, NY from 2012-15, Sager Electronics in Middleboro, Massachusetts from 2005-12, and at the Ronald McDonald House in Jacksonville, Florida in 2005, where she assisted with marketing efforts between the Ronald McDonald House and the NFL leading up to Super Bowl XXXIX.
 
The former Deb Tagliaffero, she was a two-year member of the Saints' swimming & diving squad during what was a highly successful period in program history from 2001-03 and helped the team finish as the Runners-Up at the 2003 MAAC Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. Kirkpatrick went on to swim for the Kingsbury Club Masters Swim Team from 2008-11 and has completed several triathlons and half marathons.
 
Kirkpatrick earned her B.S. in communications with a concentration in public relations and a minor in english from the University of North Florida in 2005.
