BERLIN, MD – Siena Men's Golf continued Spring 2022 action by opening up 36-hole weekend action at The Battle at Rum Pointe, hosted by fellow MAAC member Iona at the Rum Pointe Seaside Links in Berlin, Maryland.
 
The Saints sit in 14^th place after shooting +19, 307 as a team in opening round action, with conference counterparts Rider (2^nd), Fairfield (T-4^th), Monmouth (T-9^th), Iona (12^th), Saint Peter's (17^th), and Manhattan (20^th) also participating.
 
The Green and Gold were led by senior Brody Yates, who carded a round of +2, 74 to tie for 18^th individually. Freshman Dan Brooks shot +5, 77 to land in a split for 51^st, while juniors Matthew Ferrari and Nolan Crowley each carded +6, 78 to finish day one in a knot for 64^th. Junior Jack Tobin rounded out the Saints' five-man competition squad with a round of +12, 84, while graduate student Pudge Williams shot the same competing as an individual.
 
Siena will return to the par 72, 7,001-yard course to wrap weekend action on Sunday, March 26, with a shotgun start set for 9 AM.
