Box Score 2 LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Water Polo (3-14, 0-3) continued conference play Saturday afternoon, falling in a pair of MAAC road matches. The Saints dropped a tight 13-8 decision at Iona before falling, 18-2, at #15 Wagner in the nightcap.

Looking to avenge last year's loss at the Siena Swim Center to end the season, Iona overcame an early 2-1 Siena lead for hold a 6-4 lead at the half, and out-scored the Saints, 7-4, during the final two quarters. The Gaels, who received votes in the latest edition of the Collegiate Water Polo Association Poll, put the game away after holding a 9-8 lead following a Siena goal with 6:40 remaining, netting the final four scores of the match.

Ashley Chand finished with a hat trick to lead the Green and Gold offensively, while five other Saints registered a goal. Junior goalkeeper
Anna Mossakowski scored a goal just before the half, while making 11 saves in-between-the-pipes.

The nationally-ranked Seahawks grew their winning streak against the Saints to 18, holding the visitors off the board completely to lead, 12-0, at the intermission. Siena got goals from senior

Siena will return home to try and get back in the win column on Sunday, March 26, with a pair of matches scheduled at the Siena Swim Center. The Saints will host MAAC foe La Salle at 10:30 AM and will welcome Villanova at 4:00 PM, with both matches set to air on Siena All-Access.
