Siena Baseball out-hit Central Connecticut 14-7, but the Blue Devils took full advantage of 15 walks and four errors to defeat the Saints 16-4 in New Britain.
Central Connecticut (12-11) scored in each of the first three innings to race out to a 13-2 lead. Sam Loda drove in four runs on the afternoon, and both Hunter Pasqualini and Jay Devito scored three times apiece atop the lineup to pace the Blue Devils.
Siena (8-23) tied a season-high with 14 hits.
Alex Milone continued his torrid stretch with three more hits, including his third home run of the season.
Vincenzo Castronovo also homered, while four other Saints posted multiple hit performances.
Siena heads to Southern Illinois for four games this weekend against the host Salukis and SIU Edwardsville. The Saints commence action in Carbondale against Southern Illinois Thursday at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. CT).
