LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Athletics and Van Wagner continued to build its partnership in Loudonville with the addition of Patrick Meany to the Department of Athletics and Recreation as an Account Executive for Athletics Sponsorships. Meany Returns to Siena after having previously worked in the department for three years.

Meany brings a decade of business and sales experience to Siena, having most recently worked for the New York State Bar Association as a Section and Meeting Liaison in nearby Albany, New York since January 2022. Prior to that role, he was a Member Relationship Officer for Siena Men's Basketball Title Sponsor CAP COM Federal Credit Union in Albany from September 2020 – January 2022.
A native of nearby Delmar, NY, Meany began his professional career as a Customer Service Representative with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer from January – November 2012 before spending nearly three years with Siena Athletics as a Sales Assistant from November 2012 – September 2015. While in Loudonville, Meany helped ensure the renewal of over 93 percent of accounts from the 2013-14 to the 2014-15 basketball seasons, while generating over $43,800 in new premium seating sales during the 2013-14 campaign. He also worked to create and implement marketing strategies focused on increasing sales, managed premium seating hospitality areas, and oversaw various groups during Siena Men's Basketball games.
Meany's career in athletics next took him to New York City, where he served as a Client Relationship Specialist at Madison Square Garden from September 2015 – August 2019, working with New York Knicks season ticket accounts and promoting revenue generation within MSG teams' franchises. He stayed in New York to serve as an Account Manager for Wheels Up from September 2019 – August 2020.
Meany earned his B.S. in Sport Management from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2011, and received his Master's of Science in Sport Management from Cortland in 2016. He was a four-year member of the Cortland Men's Soccer program, serving as a team captain during his senior season.
He resides in Delmar with his wife, Lorraine, and daughter, Lillian.
