LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Saints wrapped up the final day of their Siena Invitational on Saturday afternoon from the Sharp Courts at RPI in Troy, with many successes from the weekend.
Leading the way was junior
Emma Boggiali, who won the back draw in Singles A with two victories. Boggiali took an 8-1 victory in the semifnals, followed by an 8-0 win in the final to give her the back draw title. Boggiali also took a win in Doubles B with
Maanya Viswanath, as the pair took a 6-1 semifinal win, and 6-2 win in the final for the win.
Laia Giralt won her first match of the day 8-7 (3), which pushed her to the Singles A final where she would fall 8-4.
Reegan Mullaney fell in her lone match of the day in the back draw of Singles B bracket by an 8-4 final.
Alexa Wilson did he same in the main draw, falling 8-4 as well. Wilson and
Meagan Brown fell short in the Doubles A bracket, falling 7-6 (5).
Siena returns to action next Sunday, Sept. 18 when they play host to Holy Cross at Tri-City Fitness.
