LATHAM, NY – Siena Men's Tennis returned home for the first time this calendar year to conclude a busy weekend of action on Sunday afternoon. The Saints took a 6-1 victory over LIU at Tri-City Tennis in Latham, New York to improve to 3-2 in dual match play this season

The Saints won the doubles point by way of the team of Dante Russo and Edward Vo claiming a 6-3 victory and the group of Tomas del Olmo and Jose Pablo Davila taking a 6-2 win.

Siena went on to claim five of six singles matches as well, with Russo winning in straight sets from the #1 position (6-1, 6-2), del Olmo taking a three-set win in position 2 (5-7, 7-6, 10-8), Agustin Suarez winning in straight sets from #3 (6-3, 6-4), Vo doing so from #5 (6-3, 6-1), and Matt Nardone carving out a #6 victory (6-2, 4-6, 8-10).

 The Green and Gold claimed victory over the Sharks after dropping a 4-3 decision at home during the 2021-22 season. Siena will next head east for a battle with ACC foe Boston College on Saturday, February 4 at 3:30 PM.
