Siena Women's Tennis wrapped up the fall portion of their 2023 campaign after three student-athletes reached the round of 64 on day two of the ITA Northeast Regionals played at Harvard's Beren Tennis Center in Cambridge, MA Saturday.
Junior
Laia Giralt, senior
Emma Boggiali and freshman
Manuela Gomez were all coming off victories in the opening round of the regionals and had set themselves up for an opportunity to advance to the round of 32 on Saturday.
However, all three took straight set defeats against competition from Ivy League members Dartmouth and Harvard and the ACC's Syracuse.
"The Saints fought hard against elite opponents and will look to carry the momentum into the spring season," said Siena assistant tennis coach Brenden Boutin, who was traveling the team.
The Saints will take a break from action before returning in the new year to host Binghamton on Saturday, January 27 from the Tri-City Center in Latham.
