Siena Women's Tennis team coach
Jeff Osborn had a feeling it would come down to the wire.
That's exactly the type it was as the Saints narrowly fell 4-3 on the road to Bryant in a Saturday night match in Smithfield, RI.
The Saints (2-5) received strong performances by #1 singles player
Meagan Brown and #2 singles player
Laia Giralt, who each turned in victories in both single and doubles play.
But, it was the Bulldogs (5-1) backend players that won on courts three through six that made the difference.
Next up, Siena will stay in Rhode Island for a quick turnaround to take on Providence (0-5) on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
