Jac Caglianone pitched three shutout innings to earn the win on the mound and homered twice at the plate as No. 6 Florida completed the weekend sweep of Siena Baseball 12-2 in seven innings.
Caglianone started on the mound and allowed just one hit over the first three innings for Florida (15-3) to be credited with the win in the mercy rule shortened series finale. At the plate, he was on base all four times while also scoring four times and adding a double in addition to his two homers as part of a 3-for-3 hitting performance.
Freshmen once again led the way offensively for Siena (2-13), combining to produce all three hits.
Danny Barbero delivered a two-run single in the fifth to account for the scoring, while
Louis Percival added a pair of singles.
The Saints return to action with a three-game series next weekend at Richmond, beginning with doubleheader action Saturday at 11 a.m.
