Siena Women's Tennis gained further momentum heading to the MAAC Postseason Tournament with another victory on Sunday, sweeping visiting Niagara 7-0 at Central Park in Schenectady to solidify the No. 3 seed.
The Saints (11-11, 4-2 MAAC) nearly pulled off a true sweep, winning all nine matches in straight sets with exception of one lost set on the day.

Reegan Mullaney (doubles #2) and
Madeline De Faber-Schumacher won in singles competition from the #6 spot.
"Both teams (men and women's teams) came ready to play today," said eighth-year Siena head tennis coach
Jeff Osborn.
"It was all business from the start of the match and it shows that both teams really want to keep playing. Hopefully, this will carry over to the MAACs next weekend."
Siena will play No. 2 Fairfield (9-8, 5-1 MAAC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mercer County Park Tennis Center in West Windsor, NJ in a MAAC Semifinal matchup.
The Saints will be making its seventh consecutive trip to the MAAC Tournament and will be seeking to win its second championship in the past three seasons.
Over the past four seasons, Siena is 36-30 overall and 13-5 in MAAC play.
Niagara finished 5-13 overall and 2-4 in the MAAC.
