Siena Basketball Signs Max Frazier

North Carolina Product Becomes Third Member of Incoming Recruiting Class

LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Basketball Head Coach Carmen Maciariello has announced the newest addition to his program's incoming signing class. Max Frazier, a 6-8, 195-pound forward from Pittsboro, North Carolina, has signed his National Letter of Intent, and will enroll at Siena College this fall.

"Max has tremendous athleticism and agility, and is a welcome addition to our frontcourt," said Maciariello. "He is a winner and a worker who continues to grow his skill set, and we cannot wait to start coaching him."

Frazier spent the past two seasons at Northwood High School under the direction of head coach Matt Brown, after transferring in from Woods Charter following the 2020-21 season. Frazier appeared in 57 games, averaging 8.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.1 steals spanning his two seasons at North Carolina 3A power Northwood, which compiled a 52-7 overall record during his time with the program.

Frazier earned Third Team All-District acclaim and All-Conference honors after averaging 8.6 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks while leading the Chargers to a 28-3 overall record and a North Carolina 3A State Championship Game appearance this past season. Frazier also starred on the AAU circuit for the Durham Hurricanes under head coach Robert Sinclair, and was aided in his skill development by prominent longtime professional and college basketball coach Bob MacKinnon, Jr.

Frazier becomes the third addition to the Siena Basketball recruiting class, joining fellow incoming freshmen Michael Ojo and Bralyn Smith, who previously committed during the Early Signing Period in November.
