LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena's
Olivia Lomascolo was at it again last weekend, setting a school record and running a nationally-recognized time to earn herself a MAAC weekly award.
The fifth year took home MAAC Women's Runner of the Week honors for the first time during outdoor track season and the fifth time overall, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Ballston Lake, New York native broke her own school record and logged the fastest time in the MAAC so far this season in the 5,000 with a mark of 16:22.73 at the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Virginia. The time was also good for the 53
rd fastest time in the NCAA East Region so far this season.
Siena continues outdoor track action at The Penn Relays April 27-28.
