MONTGOMERY, NY – Siena Men's & Women's Cross Country continued their fall seasons at the site of next month's MAAC Championship on Saturday. The Saints raced several other conference programs at the Jasper Fall XC Invite at Twin Ponds at The Farm in Montgomery, New York.
The Siena men took third out of 20 competing programs, while the women finished fourth out of 19 teams.
Continuing a solid start to her collegiate career, freshman
Kyra Pellegrino took seventh place with a 6k time of 21:19.9 – good for the fourth-fastest 6k time in program history. Program newcomer
Madeline Hesler took 14
th place for the Saints with a time of 21:46.9. Junior
Julia Caputo (22:09.2), junior
Claire Gardner (22:33.1), and senior
Katharine Hesler (22:50.1) rounded out the team's top-five finishers in 21
st, 28
th, and 39
th, respectively.

The team's next fall action will come on Saturday, September 30 at the prestigious Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
