Siena Women's Tennis wrapped up their weekend slate of matches at the Skidmore Invitational with mixed results at the new McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center on Saturday and Sunday in Saratoga Springs. 
 
The Saints were pitted in singles play versus hosts Skidmore and Middlebury, doubles play against Union and choice matchups in both singles and doubles play against Middlebury.
 
Siena went 10-16 in matches and most notably picked up a sweep in four doubles matches against Union.   
 
Junior Laia Giralt, senior Emma Boggiali, and junior Jade Gautier each came away victorious in their singles matches against Skidmore. 
 
Senior Alexa Wilson was the lone winner in singles play against Middlebury. 
 
The pairings of Wilson and Giralt, sophomore Reegan Mullaney and freshman Manuela Gomez, Boggiali and senior Shelby Madeiros and sophomore Madeline De Faber-Schumacher and Gautier teamed together to take all doubles matches against Union. 
 
In choice play, Gautier won in singles play while Giralt and Wilson had a win in doubles play. 
 
Siena Women's Tennis will take next week off from matches before returning to the courts for competition in the Colgate Invitational that will be held Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Hamilton, NY.
