Siena sophomore Oscar Martinez picked up a victory in the men's singles consolation bracket on Friday to continue his run into the quarterfinals for Saturday.
 
Martinez overcame a setback in the middle set to top Gardner-Webb's Eduardo Dias 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 at Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga. 
 
Martinez will now get set to face Bellarmine's Jack Bathelor in the next round at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Martinez is currently a 10.6 UTR rating while Bathelor is rated a 9.1.
 
Senior Laia Giralt and sophomore Manuela Gomez dropped their doubles consolation match to Amelia Bissett and Maria Juliana Parra Romero of Florida State 6-2, 6-3.
