Siena Swim & Dive proved superior to regional competition on Sunday as the team claimed the second ECAC Winter Championship in program history, and the first since the 2015-16 season, after earning 1,390 points to top the 10-team field from East Meadow, NY.
Under first-year head coach
Maggie Davenport, the Saints entered Sunday's third and final day 5.5 points behind Monmouth before ultimately finishing 28.5 points ahead of them. Davenport was also named the ECAC Coach of the Meet.
"I could not be prouder of what this team accomplished this weekend," said Davenport. "These girls showed up and gave it their all till the very last race. It feels so great to bring the ECAC Winter Championships title back to Siena - a full circle moment from our win in my freshman year. We're not done yet, and I can't wait to keep the momentum going as we head into the second half of the season."
One day after setting the program 100 fly record,

Mea Amedio's 53.02 in the event kept her within the program's top-10 performances, tying her for ninth with current teammate
Maddie Buck.
Natalie Blume entered the program's top-10 performance list yet again as well, turning in a top-10 finish in the 1,650 free, clocking 17:56 flat to place eighth of 22, and enter 10th on the list.
In the 200 breast,
Olivia Martin moved up on the top-10 performance list with a mark of 2:25.49.
Siena's 400 free relay team of
