Game Recap: Men's Lacrosse |

Saints Roll Past Wagner

Reynolds, Arcuri, Rooney all have big days for Siena

Junior attack Pratt Reynolds had a season-high six points (five goals, one assist), senior goalkeeper Andrew Arcuri was stout defending the cage with 15 saves and Siena Men's Lacrosse put together a complete game in a 13-5 conference win at host Wagner at Hameline Field on Staten Island, NY Saturday afternoon.

Siena (4-6, 2-3 MAAC) took a 4-0 advantage at the end of the first quarter and did not let go of the lead.

Sophomore attack Caden Olmstead and graduate student Colin Gleason each had two goals apiece and senior Andrew Rooney was Arcuri's best friend patrolling the defensive side of the field with team-highs of seven ground balls and five caused turnovers.

The Saints held a 41-35 shots advantage including 28-20 shots on goal advantage.

At the face off "X", Dylan Pape reeled off his fourth consecutive game in which he won the majority of his face offs (11 of 19).

He's winning .520 now on the season.

Wagner (1-10, 1-4 MAAC) was led by Patrick Caldwell, who had a goal and an assist.  Rudy Zarate made 13 saves in defeat for the Seahawks.

Siena returns to action on Saturday, April 6 at 12 p.m. when it hosts Quinnipiac on Senior Day at Hickey Field.

The game will be streaming on Siena All-Access.
