LOUDONVILLE, NY – Facing one of the stingiest goalkeepers in the MAAC this season in Quinnipiac's Mason Oak, the Siena Men's Lacrosse team stayed on the attack, won the majority of hustle plays and pushed on the gas pedal in the fourth quarter to come away with an impressive 13-10 conference win to hand the Bobcats just its second loss this season on the Saints' Senior Day.
Junior attack
Pratt Reynolds cracked another milestone by recording his 100
th career goal donning the Green and Gold on his way to a game-high four goals including a pair on the man-up advantage for the Saints.
The game saw a back-and-forth tempo with six ties altogether. With the teams locked at 9-9 early in the fourth quarter,
Patrick Linton broke through for his first goal of the season at the 14:19 mark.
Patrick Radomski scored less than a minute later while Reynolds finished on a feed from
Colin Gleason to give Siena a three-goal cushion with 12:44 remaining.
While Quinnipiac's John DeLucia cut the lead to 12-10 at 6:47 left, the Saints responded with a goal from
Caden Olmstead with just 1:39 on the clock to solidify a huge win against a team that had received a vote in the latest USILA Division I men's lacrosse polling that was released last Monday.
Siena (5-6, 3-3 MAAC) held heavy advantages in both shots (48-25) as well as shots on goal (30-13).
Oak, who ranks first in the MAAC in save percentage (.594) and first in saves per game (15.10), also is ranked third in goals-against average (10.30).
While Oak made 17 saves, the Saints were also able to create enough pressure by winning the hustle plays (31-16 on ground balls) while
Dylan Pape was a key factor by winning 19 of 27 face offs at the "X" to go along with a team-best nine ground balls.
Sophomore attack
Caden Olmstead added his eighth hat trick of the season.
The Saints paid tribute to its 10 seniors with team's annual banquet dinner on Friday night and made giant banners for each student-athletes that adorned the Hickey Field bleachers.

Quinnipiac (8-2, 4-2 MAAC) was led by Trevor Douglas (three goals) as well as DeLucia and Jake Tellers, who each scored twice.
Siena returns to action this Wednesday in a conference dual at Marist (5-6, 2-4 MAAC) at 8 p.m.
