The Siena Women's Golf team is positioned in ninth place out of 12 teams after the first day of competition in the JEL Golf Collegiate Classic at Prospect Bay Country Club in Grasonville, MD on Friday. 

The Saints shot a collective 336-341-677 through two rounds.   

Sacred Heart leads the field with a 299-298-597 followed by Boston College (608), Navy (629), Towson (641) and Fairfield (641). 

Top finishers for Siena included freshman Emily Kintzel, who shot a 77-87-164 to place in the top 25 and sophomore Mackenzie Whitney, who shot an 86-79-165.

Siena will conclude competition on Saturday for day two with a scheduled first tee time at 7:30 a.m.
