LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Siena Women's Lacrosse team will celebrate its senior class on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. as a precursor to a noon opening draw set at Hickey Field against conference opponent Mount St. Mary's.
The game is set to be broadcasted by ESPN+ with Tom Schwan and Madison Jones on the call.
Siena (10-4 overall, 5-1 MAAC) enters playing solid lacrosse, having won eight of its last nine games and is 7-2 in home games this season.
Siena is coming off a comfortable 13-7 road victory at Marist this past Wednesday, in which both
Kelly Logue and
Jordan Bentley notched hat tricks.
The Saints are currently positioned in second place in the 10-team Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference standings, one game ahead of both Niagara and Iona, and one game behind #23 Fairfield.
The top six teams qualify for the MAAC Tournament heading into the final two weekends of play in the regular season.
Mount St. Mary's (5-8, 3-3 MAAC) situates itself in the middle of the pack in jockeying for a potential playoff berth.
The Mountaineers have already won more games under head coach Lauren "Lo" Skellchock than it did all of last season having a 4-13 season in 2023.
The Mount is coming off a 15-6 romp of Rider this past Wednesday, spearheaded by a trio of hat tricks from Madison Harmening, Anna McQuay and Mackenzi Furlong.
Furlong is leading the Mountaineers with 35 goals and 10 assists while Anna Salerno has tallied 27 goals and four assists.

"They're [Mount. St. Mary's] a tall, physical team," said first-year Saints head coach
Danielle Schwan-Tetreault.
"Their offense has been hot. They just beat Rider 15-6 and had a one-goal game against Fairfield so we know it's going to be a dog fight. Our takeaways from being in this conference is that you must show up to every game."
