LOUDONVILLE, NY – The MAAC postseason journey for Siena Men's Lacrosse takes root on Saturday at 7 p.m. against Marist in a No. 5 versus No. 4 seeded match up between I-87 rivals.

The ebb and flow of the all-time series has switched momentum over the decades with each team sporting long winning streaks against one another.
Marist leads the all-time series 22-21 and has won the last nine meetings including this year's earlier meeting 14-13 in Poughkeepsie.
Siena has won three of four all-time postseason meetings with Marist.
Siena (7-7) enters having won four of its previous five games.
This is the program's 11
th appearance in the MAAC tournament where it sports an all-time record of 11-7 with three MAAC Championships won.
Siena is led by MAAC Rookie of the Year and All-MAAC Second Team attack
Caden Olmstead, who ranks third in the MAAC in goals with 37.

Pratt Reynolds leads the team in goals with 40 while the defense has been flanked by a pair of All-MAAC selections in First Team choice

Marist has been led by All-MAAC First Team midfielder Joshua Balcarcel, who ranks fifth in the conference in points per game (3.64), is seventh in goals with 30 and is fifth in assists with 21.
Aidan McCaffrey leads the MAAC in caused turnovers with 33 and was named to the All-MAAC Second Team.
The potential faceoff "X" matchup features two among the best in the conference in Siena's
Dylan Pape (.546 win %) versus Dylan Bedell (.503 win %).
