LOUDONVILLE, NY – The top-two hitters in the Marist order, Ethan Conrad and Bayram Hot, combined for five hits and five RBI to lead the Red Foxes past Siena Baseball 6-1 in the series-opener at Connors Park.
Hot opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the second, while Conrad added a two-run ground-rule double to spark a three-run sixth for Marist (16-31, 9-13).
That was all the offense that Caleb Kempner and Jack Keenan needed, as the Red Fox duo combined to five-hit Siena (9-37, 5-14). Kempler went 6.2 to earn the win, while Keenan added 2.1 shutout innings of relief.

Kobe Stenson. The duo each tallied a pair of hits apiece to account for four of the five total Siena hits.
The Saints will seek to even the series Saturday at 1 p.m.
