Program reels off ninth straight honors by organization

NEW ORLEANS, LA – For the ninth straight year, the Siena Track teams both earned All-Academic honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

The women's program held the distinction of earning the top spring 2024 term GPA among all 21 Siena College athletic programs with an impressive 3.85 GPA.  Their cumulative GPA of 3.74 ranked fifth nationally among NCAA Division I Women's Track and Field teams under head coach Elizabeth DeBole behind only Arizona, Utah, Creighton and Utah State.

The men's program had a strong year in the classroom as well, finishing 11th nationally with a 3.57 cumulative GPA and posted a spring term GPA of 3.77, also under coach DeBole.

There were 27 Siena Outdoor Track student-athletes who received MAAC All-Academic Team honors earlier this year including 15 on the men's program and 12 representatives from the women's team.
