TROY, NY – Siena Men's Tennis picked up seven more victories on the final day of the Siena Invitational to win the majority of its match ups against RPI on Sunday at Sharp Courts to finish the weekend on a high note.
Freshman
Emilio Zavala Salinas, sophomore
Oscar Martinez and Emilio Zavela Salinas each won two matches on the day.
Martinez battled back after dropping the opening set to top Tsubi Okada 5-7, 6-1, 6-3.
Zavela Salinas continued his impressive start to the season, racking up a 6-2 7-6 (3) victory against RPI's Krishnan. Then, he teamed with Martinez to best Yemula and Okada 6-0.
Tomas Andreotti build upon his momentum from Saturday's Saints debut by topping Vy-Vo 6-4, 7-6 (2) then partnered with
Dylan Breen to earn a 6-3 win in doubles play.
The Saints return to the courts this Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Colgate Invite beginning at 9 a.m.
