Siena Women's Tennis sophomore Zaara Omar picked her first win of the season on the final day of the Quinnipiac Hidden Duals on Sunday against UConn at the QU Tennis Courts in Hamden, CT.
 
Omar, the Castelldefels, Spain native, outlasted UConn senior Isabel Petri-Bere 6-3, 4-6, 10-4.
 
Junior Madeline De Faber-Schumacher won the middle set against sophomore Isabella Asenov, but lost in a tie-breaking set 10-5. 
 
The remainder of the Saints lineup dropped its match to their Huskies' counterpart. 
 
The Saints return to action next Saturday, Sept 14 at Skidmore in the Battle of the Northway for a two-day tournament at the McCaffery-Wagman Tennis and Wellness Center.
