Donations for The Donna Foundation will be collected and Pink Zone t-shirts will be sold at the game for a cash-only price of $15, with proceeds benefiting The Donna Foundation. There will also be a 50/50 raffle for the foundation and a special jewelry item generously donated by Hannoush Jewelers.
Established by former head coach Gina Castelli and late Siena College biology professor Dr. Pat Brown two decades ago, the Siena Women's Basketball Pink Zone Game has grown into an annual celebration of the courageous battles fought by local breast cancer survivors, while also raising awareness and money for local organizations to provide survivors with the vital services that they need.
This marks the third year that Siena Women's Basketball will partner with The Donna Foundation, a Jacksonville, Florida-based organization whose mission is to provide financial assistance and support to those living with breast cancer and fund ground-breaking breast cancer research. Proceeds from this year's game will support The Donna Foundation's awareness, education, and research programs.
