In the women's main doubles draw of the ITA New England Regionals, freshman Selma Bellaouchi and junior Manuela Gomez advanced to the Round of 32 after topping the Quinnipiac pairing of Isabella Baker and Lilly Black 8-7 (7-4) on Friday at Harvard University in Cambridge, Ma. 
 
Bellaouchi also advanced in her singles qualies backdraw round of 256 match when Emma Baker of Cornell had to withdraw due to an injury. 

The freshman from Casablanca, Morocco will now play Isabella Hu from Brown in the round of 128. 
 
First matches are set to begin at 10 a.m. at the Beren Tennis Center outside and the Murr Tennis Courts played inside.
 
Gomez will play Sophia Harris of Fairfield on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. in the main draw consolation bracket.
 
On the men's side, junior Matteo Castellazzi fell in straight sets to Yale's Vignesh Gogineni 6-1, 6-0 in the round of 256 singles main draw on Friday during the ITA New England Regionals at Cullman-Heyman Tennis Center at Yale University.
 
Castellazzi will play in the main draw consolation bracket against Mai Gao of Boston College on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the round of 256. 
 
Junior Sviatoslav Koliadynskyi teamed with Castellazzi in the late afternoon and dropped a tight match to the Marist duo of Alejandro Abella Fernandez and Gregor Heinemann 8-6 in the round of 128 doubles main draw.
