Siena Women's Golf opened the 36-hole UAlbany Invitational Sunday afternoon with the first 18 holes of action. The Saints shot +34, 314 as a team to enter Monday's final round in seventh out of 14 teams.
Emely Kintzel led the way for the Green and Gold after shooting +7, 77 in her opening round for a share of 24th. Right behind her was sophomore
Julia Kret, who ended the day +8, 78 and tied for 31st. Kret was -1 on the par-35 front nine, and finished the day tied for the individual lead shooting even on par-4 holes, and tied for fifth in the field with three birdies.
Freshman
Emily Rensch shot +9, while
Mackenzie Whitney ended the day +10 to round out team scoring.
Chelsea Woods was +13 for her round, while
Isabella Silva finished +18 competing as an individual.
The Saints conclude the UAlbany invitational with the final 18 holes Monday morning.
