Siena Women's Golf completed the opening 18 holes of the 36-hole Le Moyne Invitational Monday from Bellevue Country Club in Syracuse, NY. The Saints concluded the first round shooting +56, 340 as a team, good enough to enter Tuesday's final 18 holes in third place out of 10 teams.
UAlbany finished the first round +40, 324 to lead the field, while Siena trails second-place Fairfield by just two strokes. Additionally, fellow Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference foe Manhattan and Le Moyne loom just behind in fourth one stroke behind the Saints.
Emely Kintzel led the team shooting +11, 82, good enough for a share of 10th entering the final round. Just behind her is
Julia Kret, who is tied for 13th at +13.
Mackenzie Whitney finished the day +15, 86, good enough for a share of 18th.
Emily Rensch finished team scoring shooting +17, putting her in a four-way tie for 26th.
Isabella Silva competed as an individual and shot +26.
Siena wraps up its fall season at 9 a.m. Tuesday with the final round of the Le Moyne Invitational.
