Mary Claire Deacy has done it again—for the second consecutive week, she's been named the MAAC Rookie of the Week.
The Chicago, IL native totaled 27 kills with just six attack errors on 74 total attacks in three matches to go along with four total blocks and four digs.
The product of Mother McAuley High School averaged 2.54 kills per set and had a week-high 11 kills in Siena's four-set victory against conference opponent Merrimack this past Saturday.
Siena also defeated Holy Cross on the road in three sets last Wednesday and dropped a four-set match to Quinnipiac last Friday.
Deacy currently ranks ninth in the MAAC in hitting percentage at .276 with 161 kills against just 41 errors.
Siena (10-13, 5-4 MAAC) returns to the courts on Friday at 6 p.m. when it travels to Western New York to take on MAAC rival Niagara (7-10, 7-2 MAAC).
