Defending MAAC Champions Siena Men’s Lacrosse Signs Massive Class

18 newcomers added to the Saints’ roster ahead of 2025-2026 season

LOUDONVILLE, NY – The defending MAAC Men's Lacrosse champion Siena Saints officially announced its new signing class—a massive group of 18 student athletes to replenish the roster.

Saints men's head lacrosse coach Liam Gleason addressed several needs with seven midfielders, three attackers, four on defense, two goalkeepers, one long stick midfielder and one face off specialist.

"We're really excited to welcome this group of 18 newcomers to the Siena Lacrosse family," said Gleason, who enters his eighth season at the helm of the program.

"It is a strong class with a lot of talent that will bring depth to every area of the field. More importantly, they are high-character young men who are a great fit for our program and our culture."

Meet the New Saints

Colin Lennon, Midfield, Huntington HS
The younger brother of current Saint Liam Lennon, class of '26, joins the family after playing lacrosse for 13 years where he was an All-County selection in both lacrosse and soccer. 

Jake McMahon, Midfield, West Genesee HS
The First Team All-League selection was on the All CNY Team, a senior CNY All-Star, a member of a state championship runners up team and advanced to three sectional championships.

Logan Cash, Midfield, Northport Senior HS
The All-American was an All-Long Island player, a two-time All-County selection and the Suffolk County championship MVP of the championship team. Cash totaled 91 points in his senior season.

Hans Hoerschelmann, Midfield, Bishop Blanchet HS
The three-time First Team All-Metro selection was also a two-time U.S. High School All-American and a Metro League student scholar athlete nomination. 

Tim McDonald, Midfield, Huntington HS
The three-year starter was an All-County Honorable Mention in 2024, All-Division in 2023, All-County as well as the Rookie of the Year in 2022. 

Tommy Carroll, Attack, Saratoga Springs HS
Another three-year starter on the varsity level, Carroll also played at IMG Academy for the National Team. 

Cameron Golding, Defense, Miller Place HS
The three-time All-Division lacrosse player was additionally the recipient of the 2025 coaches award for football.

Derek Busking, Attack, West Islip HS
A 2025 USA Lacrosse All-American, Busking was also on the 2025 Newsday All-Long Island Team, the 2025 West Islip Male Athlete of the Year and the 2025 West Islip varsity lacrosse MVP.

He was listed as one of Newday's Top-100 players in both 2024 and 2025. 

Leo Cataldo, Faceoff Specialist, Bethpage HS
Cataldo earned the lacrosse coaches award and the school's all-around athlete of the year award for 2024-2025. He played 10 years as a FOGO, 15 years as a soccer player and two years as a kicker and punter on the football team. 

Doug Annicelli, Midfield, Comsewogue HS
Earning Comsewogue Lacrosse All-Division honors for 10th through 12 grades, Annicelli also was named the Comsewogue Male Scholar Athlete and was a three-time All-Division National Football Foundation Scholar Athlete.

Ben Diemer, Defense, Reading Memorial HS
The two-time USA Lacrosse All-American was additionally a two-time Boston Globe All-Scholastic selection, a two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection and the MIAA Middlesex Liberty League MVP.

The two-time MIAA Middlesex League All-Conference choice was ranked the 57th player in the state. 

Chris Landers, Goalkeeper, Christian Brothers Academy
Both his mother Sarah (field hockey) and his father Christopher (lacrosse) played for Siena in the 1990's.

The winner of both the Regan award in 2024 and the Vivian Family Award in 2025, Landers has played lacrosse for 10 years and was a four-year varsity goalkeeper. 

Tyler Strohm, Defense, Comsewogue HS
Coached by Peter Mitchell, Strohm was an All-County Honorable Mention lacrosse player as a junior and a two-time First Team All-Division lacrosse player during his junior and sophomore seasons. 

The three-year starter was also captain of the team. 

Fallou Faye, Midfield, Haldane HS
Named an All-Section lacrosse player, Faye was on sectional championship teams in basketball (twice), lacrosse and football. A three-time All-Lacrosse player, Faye also was a two-time All-League football player and a one-time All-League basketball player. 

James O'Hara, Goalkeeper, Don Bosco Prep
The First Team All Non-Public selection was also a First Team All-Gibbs Division player and a Second Team All-County selection. 

O'Hara doubled as a hockey goalkeeper and additionally played running back and kicker on the football team, point guard for basketball and right wing for the soccer team. 

Brody Corless, Long Stick Midfield, Haldane HS
The four-time All-League lacrosse player was also a two-time All-League football player, a one-time All-Conference football selection and a one-time All-State Honorable Mention for football. 

Riley Hegarty, Defense, Stony Brook transfer, Shaker HS
The four-year Stony Brook transfer played defense and started for three seasons with the Seawolves.

Hegarty started all 14 games and led the team in caused turnovers with 15 and registered 30 ground balls. 

Shea Hogan, Attack, Stony Brook transfer
The All-League Suburban Council pick also played football until his sophomore year in high school and was formerly a competitive skier. Hogan appeared in three games with the Seawolves and tallied one point with an assist against Hampton last season as a freshman. 

The Saints are coming off a season in which it went 11-5 overall and 7-1 in the MAAC.

Siena won its fourth MAAC Championship and first since 2014, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.

The program earned a record 13 All-MAAC selections including four major award wins.

Academically, the team also had a program record 23 student athletes named the MAAC All-Academic Team.
