LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Men's Tennis second-year head coach
Alex Van Cott announced the 2026 spring schedule on Monday.
The slate features 17 dual matches including 10 home dates with the opener scheduled for Jan. 24 against LIU at the Tri-City Fitness Center in Latham. It is the second most amount of home dates since the 1988-89 season where there were 15 home dates and it ties for the most amount with the 2021-22 season when there were also 10 home dates.
The schedule features seven opponents who had a .500 or better record last season, two NCAA Tournament qualifiers in St. John's and Quinnipiac and two others who reached their conference championship in LIU (Northeast Conference) and Rider (MAAC Championship).
January includes a pair of road dates at Big East Conference champion and NCAA Tournament qualifier St. John's on Jan. 30 as well as an away match at Fordham of the Atlantic 10 Conference on Jan. 31.
February ushers in a string of four consecutive home matches hosting St. Bonaventure on Feb. 8, a pair of Patriot League opponents in Colgate on Feb. 14, and Holy Cross on Feb. 15 as well as Le Moyne of the Northeast Conference on Feb. 21. The month wraps with a visit to 19-match winner Monmouth of the Colonial Athletic Association on Feb. 27.
MAAC play begins on March 7 when the Saints travel to Western New York to play at Niagara, followed by a visit to Sacred Heart on March 14 and then a trip to Fairfield on March 27. Siena returns to the Capital District for a three-match home stand against Quinnipiac on March 29, Marist on April 6 and a MAAC Semifinals rematch against Rider on April 10.
Siena will play at Merrimack on April 11 and then finish out the regular season with a pair of home dates. The Saints will play a non-conference opponent in St. Francis (PA) of the NEC on April 12 and then conclude with a match hosting Mount St. Mary's (MD) on April 18.
The MAAC Tournament returns to Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ for a 14
th consecutive season from April 25-26 with the top four teams qualifying in a single elimination format. The champion will receive an automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament field.
Siena went 6-13 overall last season with a 5-3 conference record. The second-seeded Saints fell in the MAAC Semifinals to No. 6 Rider 4-3. The team returns sophomores

Emilio Zavala Salinas and has four new players in freshmen
Mars Argun and
Santiago Trujillo as well as junior transfers
Sviatoslav Koliadynskyi and
Matteo Castellazzi.
