Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Siena Water Polo opened its trip to the Harvard Invitational facing top-notch competition in a pair of nationally ranked opponents in #16 Wagner, and #22 California Baptist. The Saints fell to Wagner in their opening game, 22-9, before being bested by California Baptists in the second, 19-4.

Wagner jumped out to a 6-2 lead after the first, with both Siena goals by Parker Thomas, before the Saints made a splash in the second. Trailing 8-2, Siena finished the half on a 4-3 run to enter the midway point trailing 11-6. 
 
Catherine Williamson opened the third period up with a goal to bring the Green and Gold within four. Lucia Fernandez Caballero and Williamson scored again for the Saints in the frame, with Williamson's score making it a 13-9 contest. However, Wagner closed out the match on a 9-0 run over the final 12 minutes of play. 
 
#22 Cal. Baptist 19, Siena 4
 
Trailing 1-0 early, Rebecca Currie drew the Saints even two minutes into the match before Cal. Baptist scored the next four goals of the period to lead 5-1. Currie stopped the streak while Quincy Frommelt also netted one in the first as the Saints trailed 7-3 entering the second. 
 
From there, Cal. Baptist shut the Saints out 2-0 in the second, and 7-0 in the third to take a 16-3 lead into the fourth. Lucia Fernandez Caballero notched Siena's final goal of the match in the final period.  
 
Siena plays its final two matches at the Harvard Invitational Sunday against Mercyhurst at 9:50 a.m., and Brown at 2:30 p.m.
