LATHAM, NY – Dylan Breen knew the feeling of being on the other end of a deciding match against Fairfield.  On Sunday night, the Irish sophomore celebrated with exuberance as he came away with a 6-7 (7), 6-4, 6-3 clinching victory at the singles No. 6 position to propel Siena Men's Tennis to a big 4-3 MAAC win over the visiting Stags at Tri-City Fitness. 
 
As for the other Saints, Oscar Martinez picked up yet another win from the No. 1 slot, earning a breezy 6-1, 6-0 victory over Sam Hodges while Bruno Loch Varella churned out a 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 three-setter over Luca Benaibbouche at the No. 4 position.
 
Zavala Salinas and Martinez were too good for Kostas Kollias and Kacper Krolikowski as the duo topped them 6-2 at No. 1 while Breen and Fabio Varella clinched the point with a 6-4 triumph over Hodges and Andrew Immink at No. 2. 
 
"Nice job by the men getting a good conference win," said Siena head coach Alex Van Cott. "The exciting part of the season is coming up and we will look to finish strong."
 
Siena (4-11 overall, 3-2 MAAC) moved into fourth place in the MAAC standings with a one game lead over both Niagara (5-9, 2-3 MAAC) and Sacred Heart (4-9, 2-3 MAAC). 
 
The top six teams qualify for the MAAC Tennis Championships from April 25-27 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, NJ. 
 
The Saints have three matches on the slate with a visit to Rider coming up this Friday.
 
The Stags dropped to 6-6 overall and 2-1 in the MAAC.
