LATHAM, NY – Siena Women's Tennis dropped its home conference match against Fairfield 6-1 on Sunday night from Tri-City Fitness. 
 
The Saints (5-9 overall and 3-2 in conference play) picked up a victory from the singles No. 2 position with Andrea Vargas showing out with a 7-6, 6-1 win against Anna Neyestani.
 
Siena was able to extend two other singles matches to a third set with Manuela Gomez pushed Nicolette Loeffler to a tie-breaking set at the No. 4 singles spot  and Madeline De Faber-Schumacher doing the same from the No. 6 singles position. 
 
The Stags improved to 4-11 overall and 3-0 in the MAAC.
 
Next, Siena will travel to Lawrenceville, New Jersey to play at Rider (7-10 overall, 3-1 MAAC) on Friday at 11 a.m.
