LOUDONVILLE, NY – Siena Volleyball is adding in one final piece for their Spring 2026 roster.
Head coach Tyler Kanelos has announced the addition of
Anna Hanson, a redshirt freshman transfer right side hitter from Sonoma, Calif.Â
Hanson will join the Saints this spring after spending the last two seasons at Saint Mary's College in Calif.Â
"We're very excited to welcome Anna into our family this spring."Â said coach Kanelos.
"She is coming from a very strong program and conference in Saint Mary's out of the WCC, and adds an exciting new dimension as a left-handed right side in our gym."
Hanson, a 5-foot-11 right side, comes to Siena after two seasons as a member of the Gaels.Â
The northern California native also had an outstanding prep career, capped with a Vine Valley Athletic League MVP award her senior season.Â
At Justin-Siena High School, Hanson was a three-time All-Conference selection.
A two-year team captain, she led the Braves to two VVAL Championships and two trips to the state tournament.
In her MVP season, Hanson tallied over 300 kills while chipping in 195 digs, 58 blocks and 49 aces.
At the club level while competing for Absolute Volleyball Club, she helped her team earn seven consecutive trips to the USAV Junior National Championships.
Hanson will look to hit the ground running with the Saints as they begin off-season practices this spring semester.
